Hello
I’m Rachel, thanks for stopping by to have a nosy at what I’m up to.
I am full of good intentions to keep this blog up-to-date with interesting things associated with the three strands of my photographic business. So on here you might well see stuff about my commercial work for various companies, some bits about weddings and the whole business of getting married and also some posts and musings related to the wonderful burlesque-y, vintage pin-up and boudoir world of Raquel Rouge.
All that, and anything else that takes my fancy. We’ll see how it goes.
Please wipe your feet and enjoy your stay.

Hi Rachel
I’ve just found out that my son shares his class with your son and we seem to share an interest in the same areas of photography. I’m currently the course director in Photography at Coventry university and a photographic artist please see my work at http://www.paulmsmith.co.uk
If you would like to catch up for a chat please let me know, just email me at paul@paulmsmith.co.uk

Hello Rachel,
I will be traveling to between Franfurt an Paris from August 19~25 2012.
My daughter is a Cabaret-Burlesque scholar, and I have promised her a Dad-Daughter week filled with the quasi-erotic shows inspired by Weimar era Berlin. We aren’t seeking strip clubs, but rather the high quality dance-theater numbers such as those glamorized in Cabaret (Liza Minnelli) and Burlesque (Cher).
We are leaving in just 6 days. But, unfortunately, I am drawing a blank!. Do these shows exist anywhere in soutwest Germany or northern France?
In August, Germany is practically devoid of serious Burlesque. I have read about Queen Calavera in Hamburg and Kleine Nachtrevue in Berlin. Both are far from Frankfurt.
It’s late. I am getting desparate. If anyone has suggestions, please call or write directly. Include a phone number and I will call back promptly.

Hi Ellery, I’ll ask around!
Just a quick follow up… We ended up spending a day in Paris (5 hours west of Frankfurt). We saw the Crazy Horse show. It is very close to the Eifel Tower. They even did a number from the Cher film, Burlesque.
Excellent! Sounds like a good trip.
